As part of the project: "mooie ten-toon-stellingen" (beautiful sounding exhibition spaces) info: www.ricardohuisman.com/beautiful-sounding-exhibitions/ , I was visiting the exhibition of Carlos Amorales in the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam on feb. 21 2020. This is a creative research project based on being part of the (multi sensory) experience while visiting exhibitions in museums or galleries, as visitor and artist, composer, interacting with the exhibition and the reflections (of sounds and meanings) in the museum spaces. I made a binaural recording of the exhibition space with the interactive installation of Carlos Amorales "we'll see how all reverberates" including me and others experiencing, playing the installation.

It inspired me to compose the sensescapes: Sonic Circus, virtual exhibition spaces. These sensescapes move from sonic ambiance to composed electroacoustic soundscapes, from chaotic to rhythmic, as breeding grounds for (non)musical elements, joggling with concrete sounds, the proximity of moving bodies through the space, silence and noises, interactions, voices and whispers of the public. The sounds and recordings are instant composed, live mixed and come from several exhibition spaces besides the reverberations of the installation.
