ocean sings along

from ÖKO Planet by Ricardo Huisman

about

From an ecological perspective the listener takes an imaginary dive into the noisy ocean as a sounding medium, hearing an official starting alarm in the need for remaining a safe and sound(ing) environment for all the creatures living in the ocean, while slowly entering the Hawaiian breeding grounds of the humpback whales singing along. For a few moments their songs, crying and breathing are intertwined with human laughing and chants as a kind of spiritual hymn for the ocean to preserve its refreshing life cycles. After the ending alarm the listener turns back on the beach, from the ocean within back into reality of the moment…
